Air Show 2018 K TitleLAKE HAVASU CITY, Arizona – The Hangar 24 AirFest & 2nd Anniversary Celebration at the Lake Havasu City Airport is proud to announce two new spectacular appearances at the Saturday, October 27 show, including the headliner: An A-10 “Warthog” from Davis-Monthan Air Force Base in Tucson, Arizona.

Also on the schedule will be an appearance from a B-17 “Flying Fortress,” for attendees not only to board and tour, it will be available to carry passengers on short flights over Lake Havasu City. The B-17 on hand is named “Sentimental Journey” and is one of just eight still in flight today of the 12,731 originally built. “Climb aboard” tours will take place Oct. 27. Rides will commence the morning of Oct. 28, before “Sentimental Journey” returns home.
